Meet one of our talented artists Janet Springer.   Janet has always followed a creative and artistic path in daily life.  At an early age her talents were recognized and encouraged by teachers and peers. She started her journey with sketching, evolved into acrylics and began painting rural scenes on anything she was given. 

Janet, through a friend, moved to a new medium of fused glass.  This was the perfect avenue to challenge her artistic skills. Janet gathers inspiration from her rural location in the Ottawa Valley. She incorporates rocks and weathered wood in her designs, producing spectacular one of a kind pieces and captures the raw beauty from nature with the simplicity of glass. 

Janet is a well known artist in the Ottawa Valley and her pieces have found homes throughout Canada and the US. In 2018 she began to offer small glass workshops in her studio so that she can spread the love and knowledge of glass for all to enjoy
